POSITION: Housing Support Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range: $28.28 per hour
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Driving Required

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM:
Our Supportive Housing Services (SHS) offers Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) within a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) model, specifically tailored for individuals facing homelessness and chronic health challenges. We provide holistic support aimed at fostering long-term housing stability, improving quality of life, and facilitating community integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver strengths-based case management and coordinate services for clients
  • Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve personalized goals
  • Provide crisis intervention and conduct comprehensive risk assessments
  • Advocate for clients to access essential resources, including housing and healthcare

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience providing in-home and community-based services
  • High degree of empathy and understanding for individuals with complex needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Effective prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and positive work attitude

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of experience in healthcare, case management, or a related field

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Open to all levels of education and experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends as required
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • CPR/First Aid certification or readiness to obtain
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination
