Business Development Executive

Selling merchant services offerings to businesses is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for building relationships. As a Business Development Executive at Heartland, you will work closely with our team to identify revenue opportunities and drive business growth. This role involves pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management, with a focus on field sales.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of our product and service portfolio, as well as changes and developments within the payments industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both in-person and over the phone
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in sales, preferably in the B2B space. You should possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record of success in sales, and a passion for building relationships. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an estimated $100,000 - $110,000 first-year salary, plus uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
