Job Description

Job Title: Security Specialist III

Job Summary:

Armada is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist III to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the overall management and operations of the AOC Security Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison and coordinate with various Legislative Branch Organizations on security matters.
  • Assist program officials with developing written procedures compliant to established policies.
  • Develop, review, and revise general security policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing SCIF security policies and procedures.
  • Provide routine management for a SCIF and classified information security program.
  • Conduct security briefings and training sessions for personnel accessing classified information, OPSEC and general security awareness training.
  • Participate in security audits and inspections, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in incident response and reporting, including investigating security breaches.
  • Provide support and guidance to security staff and other personnel on security-related matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in security regulations and best practices, advising the organization accordingly.
  • Assist with other security duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials.
  • Minimum of six (6), preferably eight (8), years of relevant multi-disciplined security experience to include but not limited to physical security, SCIF, secure room management, information security and policy development.
  • High School Diploma.
