Employment Opportunity

At Inter-Con, we take pride in delivering tailored security solutions for our clients. This involves placing the right officer in the right position at the right time. While some clients may prefer a more subtle security approach, others require a pronounced security presence for high-value assets. As a Security Operations Specialist, you will be part of a highly skilled security team responsible for safeguarding critical facilities and infrastructure, as well as public venues that necessitate an enhanced security presence. You will receive training from our expert firearms instructors in safe weapon handling and marksmanship. In this role, you will play a vital part in the diverse range of specialized security services that Inter-Con offers daily.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in armed security.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Responsibilities:
  • Access control management.
  • Processing visitor entries into facilities.
  • Conducting inspections and screenings.
  • Patrolling and responding to security calls.
  • Traffic direction.
  • Monitoring and operating security and safety systems.
  • Documenting incidents and preparing reports.
Work Environment and Schedule:
  • Work takes place at client sites, which may be indoors or outdoors.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during daily security operations.
  • Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Shifts and holiday work will be assigned as required.
