About the Role

The Association for Community Affiliated Plans is seeking a seasoned healthcare leader to fill the position of Chief Strategy Officer. This key role will play a critical part in shaping the organization's strategic direction and driving innovation in the managed care industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Lead the development of innovative programs and initiatives to address the needs of community health centers and the people they serve
  • Steer the organization's approach to Medicaid procurement activities and other business development opportunities
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the CEO and other senior leaders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a managed care or related healthcare organization
  • At least 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles
  • Robust understanding of provider financing, healthcare policy, and reform
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate complex matrixed environments
