Clinical Educator in Facial Plastic Surgery

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


The individual in this role is tasked with delivering comprehensive patient care, with a focus on facial plastic surgery, encompassing surgical procedures, consultative services, outpatient care, and management of hospitalized patients.

This position involves active participation in the educational initiatives of the Department, which includes conducting conferences and lectures, providing bedside instruction and rounds, supervising house staff in the operating room, clinics, and inpatient settings, as well as engaging in continuing medical education and attending local, regional, and national conferences.

The audience for educational activities includes medical students, residents, nursing students, and allied health professionals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:


The ideal candidate should possess a degree from an accredited medical institution, have successfully completed an ACGME accredited residency in otolaryngology, with a demonstrated interest and training in facial plastic surgery. Additionally, the candidate must be Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology and hold a Texas Medical license without any restrictions.


DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:


Preferred candidates will have graduated from an accredited medical school, completed an ACGME approved residency in otolaryngology, and possess a keen interest and training in facial plastic surgery. Certification/Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology and a Texas Medical license without restrictions are also required.


COMPENSATION:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
