The Clinical Education Coordinator is accountable for the assessment, creation, and management of educational initiatives within the designated clinical sector. This role involves the evaluation and oversight of staff training programs to ensure optimal patient care quality.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. A minimum of 4 years of clinical practice as a Registered Nurse and at least 1 year of experience in educational roles or staff development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a key educational resource for the clinical area by evaluating, strategizing, designing, and executing educational programs tailored to the specific needs of the clinical environment.
- Handles administrative responsibilities, including the development, oversight, and training of staff members.
- Creates educational curricula for training sessions, identifies learning requirements, and facilitates personalized learning plans.
- Encourages a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery by promoting effective patient education at the service level.
- Designs and sustains orientation programs for new employees and serves as a clinical resource for team members.
- Ensures the safety of patient care by complying with established policies, procedures, and care standards.
- Fosters professional growth and development among staff by ensuring compliance with mandatory and continuing education requirements, skills, and competencies.
- Serves as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for less experienced personnel.
- Complies with internal controls and organizational reporting structures.
$38.80 per hour; position is PBL with no benefits.
