Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: Assess, plan, develop, and implement educational activities tailored to the needs of assigned clinical areas.
  • Staff Development: Develop, monitor, and train staff to ensure quality care for patients.
  • Curriculum Development: Create training programs and individual learning plans to meet identified learning needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate effective patient care education and promote a team approach to healthcare delivery.
  • New Employee Orientation: Develop and maintain new employee orientation programs and serve as a clinical resource for staff.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure safe care of patients by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Staff Growth and Development: Promote staff professional growth and development by ensuring they meet mandatory/continuing education, skills, and competencies requirements.
  • Mentorship and Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Internal Controls: Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure.
Requirements
  • RN with Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 4 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 1 year experience in education/staff development.
Salary and Benefits

$38.80 hourly rate; PBL w/ no Benefits
