Senior Plastic Surgeon

Job Summary:

The Senior Plastic Surgeon will provide direct patient care, specializing in facial plastics, including surgery, consultative services, outpatient services, and care of hospitalized patients. The ideal candidate will participate in all teaching activities of the Department, including conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds. The Senior Plastic Surgeon will also supervise house staff in the operating room, clinics, and inpatient services, and participate in continuing medical education and local, regional, and national meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, specializing in facial plastics, including surgery, consultative services, outpatient services, and care of hospitalized patients.
• Participate in all teaching activities of the Department, including conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds.
• Supervise house staff in the operating room, clinics, and inpatient services.
• Participate in continuing medical education and local, regional, and national meetings.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completed an ACGME-approved residency training program in otolaryngology.
• Interest and training in facial plastics surgery.
• Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Texas Medical license without restrictions.
