Job Summary

UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Otolaryngology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Otolaryngology Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, advancing clinical knowledge, and contributing to the department's teaching and research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, specializing in otorhinolaryngology, including surgery, consultative services, outpatient services, and care of hospitalized patients.
  • Participate in all teaching activities of the Department, including conference and lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds.
  • Supervise and evaluate residents, provide medical direction, and participate in committee memberships at the departmental and health system levels.
  • Advance clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts, participating in either basic research (laboratory) or clinical research and publication of scientific articles.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Completed an ACGME-approved residency training program in otolaryngology.
  • Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Eligible for or have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
