UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in the training and development of medical students and residents in the field of ophthalmology, with a focus on retina services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide retina services at Galveston and Mainland clinics under the direction of trained retina faculty members.
- Participate in research projects with the guidance of a clinical investigator, dedicating up to 1 day per week to research activities.
- Teaching duties will include participation in grand rounds and mentoring of medical students and residents.
- Maintain excellent patient satisfaction and high ethical and professional standards.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Completed an ACGME-approved residency training program in ophthalmology.
- Interest and training in retina.
- Eligible for or hold a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
- Commensurate salary based on experience.
