Position Overview:
This role is crucial in operating and maintaining cooking and depositing equipment used in the manufacturing of vitamin products. The position includes a four-tier program that recognizes the essential components of a successful Process Operator: Skills, Education, and Tenure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operate kitchen equipment to regulate dosing of raw ingredients and cooking processes as defined by Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs).
  • Conduct quality inspections as required by our quality systems and MMRs.
  • Inform supervisors of any issues encountered during production.
  • Participate in equipment troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, with one to three months of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle problems involving variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic and able to write routine reports.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Physical capability to perform moderate activities, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
