Role Description

We are in search of a highly competent and driven Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role transcends traditional administrative duties; the ideal candidate will possess experience collaborating with technical teams, including engineering, supply chain, and operations. A strong educational foundation in quantitative disciplines or relevant experience in an engineering context is essential for effectively advancing engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the CTO, which includes managing schedules, organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and overseeing correspondence.
  • Technical Liaison: Serve as a vital link between the CTO and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Coordination: Aid in the management of engineering projects, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines. Maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Data Management: Organize and oversee technical data, documents, and records. Assist in data analysis and reporting as required.
  • Meeting Preparation: Compile materials for technical meetings, including data aggregation, presentation creation, and summarization of key points. Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Operational Support: Assist with operational tasks related to the CTO's initiatives, including procurement, vendor management, and logistics.
  • Communication: Draft and refine technical documents, emails, and other communications on behalf of the CTO, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Special Projects: Provide support for special projects and initiatives led by the CTO, conducting research, analysis, and offering recommendations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline) or equivalent experience in an engineering setting.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of administrative experience, with a minimum of 1 year working with technical departments. Experience in a robotics, engineering, or technology-focused startup is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of engineering principles and terminology, with the ability to interpret technical documents.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address them.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within diverse teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

The stated compensation range reflects the targeted base salary for candidates in the Los Angeles Metro area and does not include additional earnings such as bonuses and benefits. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of salary expectations.
