We are currently seeking a Technology Operations Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the operational success of Rusnak Group by delivering essential management in IT functions, ensuring a seamless and effective technology environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the organization's IT framework, directing technology initiatives, and safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our IT systems. This position calls for a proactive leader with robust technical skills and the capability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities

Strategically Coordinate IT Operations and Infrastructure Management:

  • Formulate and execute IT strategies and policies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Assess and propose technological solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Lead and develop the IT team, including system administrators and support personnel.
  • Oversee performance evaluations, conduct regular reviews, and offer ongoing training and development.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and upkeep of IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
  • Guarantee the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement IT projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including hardware and software procurement.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while monitoring expenditures.

Collaborate with Corporate Team to Ensure Security and Compliance:

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and enforce IT security protocols to protect sensitive information.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

Provide Advanced Technical Support and Vendor Management:

  • Deliver high-level support for complex technical challenges and escalate as necessary.
  • Oversee the help desk operations and ensure prompt resolution of user issues.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Foster a Productive Workforce that Meets Organizational Needs:

  • Model and promote the company's culture and service expectations, developing a highly engaged workforce.
  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise the work activities of subordinates to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide clear expectations, training, and coaching.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels and proactively plan for staffing needs.
  • Encourage collaboration and ownership among staff, engaging them in planning and problem-solving.
  • Support professional and personal growth through training and mentoring.

Ensure Efficient and Cost-Effective Operations:

  • Manage departmental budget, including payroll and supplies, ensuring cost containment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify solutions that benefit the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Plan and manage workflow to ensure timely delivery of departmental outputs.
  • Continuously seek to enhance processes and services based on feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • Required: Minimum of 6 years in an IT Manager role or similar positions within the automotive sector.
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Required: Valid California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record.
