Position Summary:
The Campus Welcome Services Manager is responsible for overseeing departmental operations within an Auxiliary Services division. This role includes staff management, budget oversight, and program administration. The manager will report to the Senior Manager or Associate Director of the Auxiliary Services Section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Supervise department personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, while fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address complex customer issues.
  • Participate in the planning and management of the departmental budget, providing regular reports and monitoring expenses.
  • Ensure the department operates efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the department through regular meetings and updates.
  • Plan and execute special events, collaborating with marketing for promotional efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with university policies and applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the department.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within a similar environment.
  • Skills: Proven managerial and procurement experience, with a valid driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with USC operations and culture.
