Position Summary:
We are in search of a Campus Welcome Services Manager to oversee a department within our Auxiliary Services division. This role involves managing staff, administering budgets, and leading program initiatives. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager or Associate Director of the Auxiliary Services Section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Supervise department personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, while maintaining a supportive work environment.
  • Coordinate with various departments to enhance service delivery and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Assist in the planning and management of the departmental budget, providing regular financial reports and monitoring expenses.
  • Ensure the department operates smoothly, overseeing inventory management and facility maintenance.
  • Facilitate communication within the department through regular meetings and updates.
  • Plan and execute special events, collaborating with marketing for effective promotion.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and standards, ensuring adherence to departmental and university guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within a similar environment.
  • Skills: Proven leadership and purchasing experience, along with a valid driver's license.
  • Commitment: Demonstrated dedication to the values of integrity, excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced education in a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with USC operations.
