Position Overview

iDirect is a dynamic and expanding series of evergreen funds dedicated to investing in select alternative asset classes with distinguished, high-quality managers. We are looking for a mid-level professional to join our private markets portfolio management team as an Assistant Vice President or Vice President. This role involves external reporting, business development initiatives, evaluating new direct private company investment opportunities, and monitoring and analyzing the existing investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on private companies and their respective industries.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Manage co-investment relationships with leading General Partners (GPs).
  • Oversee the maintenance of a suite of recurring marketing materials.
  • Update investor-specific and Board-specific reporting templates regularly.
  • Facilitate in-bound investor due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Develop both external and internal business development materials.
  • Assist in monitoring the portfolio, analyzing liquidity, and maintaining pertinent investment records.
  • Collaborate internally with Accounting, Compliance, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in financial services, including investor reporting, project management, portfolio analytics, private investing, investment banking, transaction advisory services, capital markets, investment consulting, or management consulting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to analyze problems and make logical business recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of ownership.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $180,000. iCapital provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees benefit from a robust benefits package, including an employer-matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer-paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe that collaboration fosters the best ideas and innovation. Employees in this role will work in the office four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Each department has unique needs, and some positions may be designated as in-office roles based on their function.
