Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-level professional to join our private markets portfolio management team as an Assistant Vice President or Vice President. This role is integral to our rapidly expanding series of evergreen funds, which focus on investing in select alternative asset classes with distinguished managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence on private companies and their respective industries.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Manage co-investment relationships with leading General Partners (GPs).
- Update and maintain a suite of recurring marketing materials.
- Revise investor-specific and Board-specific reporting templates.
- Facilitate in-bound investor Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Develop both external and internal business development materials.
- Monitor the investment portfolio, analyze liquidity, and maintain accurate investment records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounting, Compliance, and Sales.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in financial services, including investor reporting, project management, portfolio analytics, private investing, investment banking, transaction advisory services, capital markets, investment consulting, or management consulting.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to problem-solve and provide logical business recommendations in a dynamic environment.
- A professional demeanor combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of ownership.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Additionally, employees benefit from a robust benefits package featuring an employer-matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare, 100% employer-paid dental and vision coverage, telemedicine services, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
At iCapital, we believe that the best ideas and innovations arise from collaboration. Employees in this role will work in the office four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Each department has unique needs, and some positions may be designated as in-office roles based on their functions.
