Role Overview
iDirect, a rapidly expanding series of evergreen funds, is focused on investing in specific alternative asset classes with distinguished, high-quality managers. We are looking for a mid-level professional to join our private markets portfolio management team as an Assistant Vice President or Vice President.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence on private companies and their respective industries.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Manage co-investment relationships with leading General Partners (GPs).
- Oversee the regular updating of marketing materials.
- Maintain investor-specific and Board-specific reporting templates.
- Execute incoming investor Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Develop both external and internal business development materials.
- Monitor the investment portfolio, analyze liquidity, and maintain accurate investment records.
- Collaborate internally with Accounting, Compliance, and Sales teams.
Qualifications
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in financial services, including investor reporting, project management, portfolio analytics, private investing, investment banking, transaction advisory services, capital markets, and investment consulting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make logical business recommendations in a dynamic environment.
- Professional demeanor with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $180,000. iCapital provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Additionally, employees enjoy a robust benefits package, which features an employer-matched retirement plan, extensive healthcare coverage with fully employer-paid dental and vision, telemedicine services, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
At iCapital, we believe that the best ideas and innovations emerge when we collaborate. Employees in this role will work in the office four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Different departments have varying needs, and some positions may be designated as in-office roles based on their functions.
