Job Title: Medical Sales Specialist

Position Overview: This role is pivotal in delivering pharmaceutical solutions to clients, focusing on a designated sales territory to optimize revenue and ensure profitability. The Specialist serves as the main point of contact for clients and is tasked with implementing marketing strategies and advocating for Kowa products as directed by the District Manager.

Key Territory Focus:
The central area of responsibility encompasses various cities within the defined sales region.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outside or B2B sales is preferred
• Must reside within the specified territory or be willing to relocate
• Valid US Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and transport product boxes weighing up to 20 pounds

Core Responsibilities:
• Strategically manage the sales territory by creating a daily itinerary of client visits based on analytical insights and judgment
• Safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with company Fleet policies
• Conduct multiple visits throughout the workday to engage with healthcare professionals
• Utilize digital devices to effectively showcase Kowa's marketing and sales resources
• Maintain accurate inventory of product samples and marketing materials, adaptable to varying weather conditions
• Provide up-to-date clinical knowledge of Kowa's offerings and articulate their clinical and economic advantages to medical professionals
• Organize and participate in educational luncheons and dinner events, including speaker engagements to discuss clinical insights and treatment options
• Document all interactions with healthcare providers daily using digital tools or appropriate paper forms when necessary
• Achieve designated sales targets and market share objectives through effective sales methodologies aimed at influencing targeted healthcare providers
• Submit business expenses promptly in accordance with company policies
• Travel independently for training and meetings, which may require air travel and overnight stays depending on the location
• Adhere to all relevant FDA, AMA, PhRMA, HIPAA, and safety regulations
• Follow all company policies diligently
• Maintain a consistent work schedule
• Dress in a manner suitable for a professional role

• Understand and comply with healthcare industry regulations
• Learn and convey complex clinical and biological information
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation
