Regional Vice President Job Description

At Appian, we're driven by a passion for digital transformation and a commitment to excellence. As a Regional Vice President, you'll play a critical role in driving the growth of our Enterprise sales team across the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4 to 8 Enterprise Account Executives to achieve booking targets
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expansion in the US market
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to ensure overall quota is met
  • Manage and coach team members to achieve sales success
  • Work with resellers and channel partner teams to drive sales growth
Requirements:
  • 10+ years direct sales experience, with 5+ years in enterprise software sales as a sales team leader
  • At least 2 years experience selling to or with State and Local government contractors focused on the U.S. Public Sector space
  • Working knowledge of business process automation and experience qualifying client solution areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience defining territories, assigning quotas, and determining target accounts
