Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Director will oversee and lead a team of Field Sales Account Managers within a designated geographic area of the United States, ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to identify key accounts, create sales plans, and monitor progress toward targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Coach team members on strategically planning and executing selling activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to optimize efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional sales and service delivery.
- Support Account Managers in addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and negotiating contracts as needed.
- Cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure alignment in strategies and execution.
- Provide valuable insights and feedback from the field to contribute to the development of new products and services.
- Drive brand awareness through strategic initiatives, ensuring the brand is positioned effectively in the Public Sector Market.
- Prepare regular reports on regional sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for Senior Management.
- Monitor and manage regional budgets, ensuring adherence to financial objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in Sales Management, preferably in the Educational Products/Services Industry (Early Childhood and/or Public Sector).
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and derive actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans aligned with company goals.
