Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director II to join our team at the Dallas Independent School District. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for analyzing and utilizing database information to create concise, coherent standardized reports and forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Analysis: Utilize database information to create reports and forms that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and communicate action plans to supervisors and other stakeholders.
  • Communication: Serve as the conduit between the School Leadership Department and other departments in regards to data, report development, and assigned projects.
  • Collaboration: Work with other district departments to integrate system-wide activities to meet targets, serving as a linking agent to facilitate team-oriented approaches for execution of the department's projects and directives.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and planning documents requiring precision, accuracy, readability, and editorial correctness.
  • Leadership: Provide assistance and support to campus leadership of operational and instructional systems and strategies that impact teaching and learning.
  • Project Management: Develop action plans, policies, and procedures to facilitate the attainment of departmental operational targets.
  • Professional Development: Keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional trends and developments affecting the department's target populations.
  • Administrative Support: Organize and coordinate meetings/events with prior approval and ensure that the supervisor is fully briefed on the agenda prior to meetings.
  • General Administration: Perform administrative functions, including typing, letters, memos, and announcements.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to provide leadership and support to campus leadership and other departments.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with databases and ability to develop systems based on management by objective and results.
