About the Role

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant II to join our team in the Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive operational support to the division's faculty members, medical directors, and research personnel.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate travel, and process expenses.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, including hosting virtual and in-person conferences/meetings.
  • Serve as the division's time editor and manage faculty clinical schedules.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school graduate and four (4) years related work experience.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with office management and administrative procedures.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
