Position Objective:

Within the Support, Clinical and Allied Health Services Division, you will be tasked with establishing objectives, planning, staffing, and overseeing the activities of designated departments or areas of responsibility, including but not limited to:

Environmental Services, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Respiratory, Physical Medicine, Materials Management, Nutrition and Food Services, Security and Public Safety, Project Management, Facilities Management, and Transport.


Qualifications:

Education:
MHA/MBA/MS in hospital administration, healthcare administration, or a related specialty field, or equivalent education/experience is preferred.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

Experience:
Previous administrative experience in hospital administration or a related specialty field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the Hospital's administrative team, you will contribute to the development of Hospital objectives, plans, and policies.

Assist in preparing hospital and departmental budgets and the allocation of funds based on reviews of departmental estimates and recommendations, as well as familiarity with operating procedures and cost/revenue projections.

Assume the role of Administrator on-call according to a rotating schedule.
Achieve all agreed-upon goals and objectives within specified time frames as part of the overall mission.

Attend all required Safety Training programs and articulate responsibilities related to general safety, departmental/service safety, and specific job-related hazards.

Collaborate with other departments to create systems and resolve ongoing issues that impact departmental and organizational goals and/or patient care delivery.

Define performance objectives and metrics for the department and assess staff competence in a timely manner.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and/or other departmental functions.
Exhibit a commitment to a healthy work environment by modeling desired behaviors and encouraging others to do the same.

Provide consultation, counsel, and guidance to key personnel, including supervisors, coordinators, and clinical and non-clinical Directors.
Offer leadership and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal-setting, problem-solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
Be responsible for the division's operational excellence, ensuring that quality services are delivered in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Oversee fiscal management of the division and ensure proper utilization of the organization's financial resources.
