Role Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and servicing commercial HVAC systems (5+ tons) and related accessories. You will interact with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify potential equipment failures and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment as necessary.
  • Manage the delivery and collection of parts and equipment required for service tasks.
  • Document all service activities and customer interactions using a handheld device, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch to provide updates on service status and availability.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote relevant products and services to clients, identifying sales opportunities during service visits.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with additional technical training and 2 to 5 years of HVAC experience.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications are mandatory.
  • Proficient in servicing HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use necessary tools effectively.
  • Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting HVAC electrical and refrigerant systems.
  • Capable of performing system start-ups and balancing airflow with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to install basic duct fittings and repair various HVAC components.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as required.
  • Physical ability to navigate various environments and lift heavy equipment as needed.
