About the Role:
Veterans Inc., the leading provider of supportive services to Veterans and their families in New England, is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

This role operates under the general guidance of the Operations Manager and plays a crucial part in supporting the Facilities and Maintenance Team. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, buildings, furnishings, and properties across all programs in New England.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled building enhancements as directed by the supervisor and facilitate ongoing maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to formulate strategies addressing the facility requirements of all Veterans Inc housing programs.
- Identify and report significant maintenance repair needs.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of both the interior and exterior of company buildings, including snow removal and salting tasks.
- Oversee facility renovations and special projects, preparing plans and adhering to established schedules for facilities initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of maintenance projects and provide updates to the supervisor.
- Conduct repairs and installations of company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
- Offer insights on facility maintenance issues and cyclical replacement needs.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves manual labor and semi-skilled work related to the maintenance of agency building facilities and grounds, which encompasses construction and repair tasks in electrical, mechanical, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems. The Facilities Coordinator will also be responsible for evaluating and addressing building emergencies as they arise.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to pass a CORI background check.
- Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, with consideration for religious and medical exemptions.
