Position Overview

The Inside Channel Account Manager (iCAM) is responsible for cultivating, sustaining, and enhancing relationships with designated channel partners and accounts. The selection of target accounts is determined by partner tier, geographical location, and territory requirements. The iCAM plays a crucial role in supporting the development and attainment of sales, profitability, and territory expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust relationships that facilitate regular communication, fostering opportunities for Absolute Software.
  • Identify and generate leads that result in direct sales from partner channels.
  • Establish product knowledge and professional rapport with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned partner accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain awareness of opportunities and their respective closing timelines, adhering to best practices.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and communication with field channel account managers, sales teams, customer service, and other departments to enhance and grow partnerships.
  • Proactively manage a structured joint partner planning process that outlines shared performance goals, financial objectives, and essential milestones for a successful partnership.
  • Address potential channel conflicts with other sales avenues by promoting excellent internal and external communication and adhering to established channel engagement protocols.
Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, although relevant work experience will also be taken into account.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment, with a strong preference for outbound sales experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
