Public Sector Channel Executive

Job Overview:

As a Public Sector Channel Executive, you will be instrumental in propelling sales advancement within the public sector market segment.

Your primary focus will be on supporting distributor-managed resellers in the designated region that cater to public sector practices.

Your responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying new business prospects, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and advocating for our extensive range of technology solutions.

This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the distinct needs and challenges encountered by governmental bodies and educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales blueprint to meet revenue objectives within the public sector market.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to enhance sales within the public sector.
  • Conduct market analysis to pinpoint potential clients and gather insights on industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers, including government officials, procurement officers, and educational administrators.
  • Work alongside internal teams to tailor solutions that align with the specific needs and requirements of prospective clients.
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations to illustrate the value of our solutions.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
  • Provide precise and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in customer-facing direct sales roles.
  • Demonstrated success in selling products or services to the public sector market.
  • Experience in enterprise-level SaaS and services sales with a focus on profitability.
  • Background in selling through the distribution channel.
  • Adept at solving complex challenges; brings a fresh perspective using existing solutions.
  • Process-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in forecasting accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and open to coaching.
  • Team-oriented leadership skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven record in a KPI-driven sales environment.
  • This role requires fieldwork; willingness to travel within the territory is essential.
