Position Overview

The Inside Channel Account Manager, VAR is responsible for cultivating, managing, and enhancing relationships with designated channel partners and accounts. This role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and growth within assigned territories and partner tiers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships that facilitate ongoing communication and generate opportunities for Absolute Software.
  • Identify and generate leads that result in direct sales from partner engagements.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned partner accounts.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track opportunities and their closing timelines, adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with field channel account managers, sales teams, customer service, and other departments to enhance and expand partner relationships.
  • Lead a structured joint partner planning process to establish shared performance goals, financial objectives, and key milestones for successful partnerships.
  • Address potential channel conflicts with other sales avenues by ensuring clear communication and compliance with channel engagement protocols.
Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, although relevant experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business-to-business sales context, with a strong emphasis on outbound sales activities.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this role.
