Job Summary

Columbia University seeks a highly skilled and experienced Director of Talent Management to join its team. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing progressive integrated recruitment solutions, overseeing the University's applicant tracking system, and building solid relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including direct sourcing, social networking, and targeted advertising.
  • Oversee the design and continuous improvement of TalentLink, the University's applicant tracking system, to ensure a streamlined and efficient hiring process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and critical stakeholders to provide recruitment guidance and support.
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with the University's Diversity and Inclusion policies and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent review framework to build a robust internal pipeline of high-potential talent.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5-7 years related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with tracking recruitment data and using analytics to make recommendations for change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality improvement, change management, and strategic planning.
