Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Janus Research Group. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of security measures to protect our networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cybersecurity Team: Serve as a lead for the team responsible for IA posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
  • Security Planning and Implementation: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer network/systems and information.
  • System Vulnerability Assessment: Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Security Controls: Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
  • Network/System Analysis: Provide analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of network/systems. Lead the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards.
Requirements
  • Education: BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
  • Experience: Of the seven years of required experience, at least five years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity support of DoD Component Enterprise-wide IT systems. Additionally, at least five years of experience must include practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms. These aforementioned years of required experience may be conducted concurrently.
Training and Certifications
  • CSWF Work Role Identification: Must be able to meet one of CSWF Work Role Identification: 511, 521, 541, 622, 652
  • Certifications: Examples of certifications are: Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) or GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) or GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) or Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) required.
