Key Responsibilities:
  • Articulate findings to ensure all stakeholders share a unified understanding of security challenges, associated risks, their implications, and proposed remediation strategies.
  • Conduct security research, analysis, and evaluations through threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, source code reviews, penetration testing, and social engineering across various applications, platforms, and systems.
  • Establish a security testing strategy and framework by collaborating closely with Cyber, IT, and development teams to ensure the integration of relevant artifacts into testing plans.
  • Thoroughly document and outline risk implications of testing outcomes in comprehensive reports.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on all Security ELC-related documentation.
  • Facilitate scheduling support for security-related activities.
  • Lead and manage post-deployment scanning initiatives.
  • Report on the status of post-deployment scanning items from a security perspective.
  • Assist in the remediation of low, medium, and high security findings from post-deployment scans.
  • Support cybersecurity assessment initiatives.
  • Contribute to security engineering and compliance transformation efforts as necessary.
  • Evaluate all code-related scan results and assist FDTs in addressing low, medium, and high security findings.
  • Provide updates on the status of code-related security findings and the overall health of the application codebase from a pre-launch security standpoint.
  • Support the Cyber Penetration Test and Code Analysis Team (PTCA) in the final production code review process.
  • Enhance continuous security monitoring of the application codebase.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in various facets of cybersecurity, including network security, platform security, authentication/authorization systems, application security, policy enforcement, and security frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of an active IRS MBI Clearance.
