Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate findings effectively to ensure all stakeholders have a unified understanding of security challenges, associated risks, and proposed remediation strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive security research, analysis, and testing through methods such as threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, source code evaluations, penetration testing, and social engineering across various applications and systems.
- Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, IT, and development teams to define a robust security testing strategy and ensure relevant artifacts are integrated into testing plans.
- Document and articulate the risk implications of test results in detailed reports.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on all Security ELC related documentation.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating security-related activities.
- Lead and manage post-deployment scanning initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the status of post-deployment security findings.
- Support the remediation of identified security vulnerabilities from post-deployment scans.
- Contribute to Cybersecurity assessment initiatives.
- Assist in security engineering and compliance transformation projects as required.
- Evaluate code-related scan results and aid in the remediation of identified security issues.
- Report on the status of security findings related to application code and its overall health from a pre-launch perspective.
- Support the Cyber Penetration Test and Code Analysis team in the final review process for production code.
- Enhance continuous security monitoring practices for the application code base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including network security, platform security, authentication/authorization systems, application security, policy enforcement, and security frameworks.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of an active IRS MBI Clearance.
