Position Summary:
The Area Supervisor (AS) plays a crucial role in supporting the Portfolio Manager (PM) in overseeing a designated portfolio of properties. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to all operational policies and procedures established by FPI Management, Inc. The AS is accountable for the performance of all on-site staff and is responsible for the overall management of the properties within their assigned area, ensuring alignment with client expectations and operational budgets.

Compensation:
Annual Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership:
    • Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in managing complex administrative and operational tasks.
    • Ensure properties are maintained according to management agreements.
  2. Client Relations:
    • Implement the Owner's vision in daily operations to meet client objectives.
  3. Communication:
    • Foster professional communication with all stakeholders, including residents and vendors.
    • Ensure timely responses to inquiries from residents and clients.
  4. Employee Management:
    • Assist in recruiting and onboarding on-site personnel.
    • Provide training and support to enhance team productivity.
  5. Leasing and Occupancy:
    • Support on-site teams in achieving targeted occupancy rates.
  6. Revenue Management:
    • Identify opportunities for additional income and cost savings.
    • Monitor collections and assist in maximizing property revenue.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and reporting requirements are met.
  8. Risk Management:
    • Oversee compliance with risk management protocols and safety regulations.
  9. Facility Maintenance:
    • Monitor property maintenance and service requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
  10. Other Duties:
    • Enforce community rules and maintain a professional image at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community management for properties with 250 units or more.
  • Experience in residential property management or related fields is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs is essential.
