Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Repairer to join our team at the Housing Authority of the City of Camden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks involving masonry, plastering, carpentry, painting, plumbing, steam fitting, sheet metal, electrical, glazing, mechanical, and other types of maintenance work.
  • Conduct detailed maintenance and repair work of a complex level necessary for the upkeep of buildings and structures.
  • Work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in various maintenance areas.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with specialized training in boiler operations or general maintenance.
  • Five years of progressively responsible work experience in boiler operations, maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and training experience.
  • Current valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
