Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the Permanent Supportive Housing Program at Interfaith Community Services. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of professionals in providing critical services to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of program staff, including outreach, enrollment, placement, training, and follow-up activities to ensure compliance with program goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Permanent Housing units, including reviewing client eligibility, interviewing families, collecting rent, completing lease applications and lease-ups, and building relationships with property managers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods, assess staff workloads, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, conduct meetings and trainings to ensure program compliance and enhance staff skills.
  • Establish and maintain connections with private and public agencies, including departments within the agency, to best meet the needs of clients and programs.
  • Utilize the Coordinated Entry System to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collect and report program data, including HMIS reporting and funders' required data.
  • Intervene and de-escalate difficult clients or crises that require advanced clinical training.
  • Coordinate and provide support to interns and volunteers, including clinical consultations and resource dissemination.
  • Attend and participate in program, agency, and community meetings and trainings.
  • Provide direct service to clients, including triage, assessment, crisis intervention, and advocacy as needed.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to contract administrators, funders, and the Director.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual billing for each program and submit to the proper funder and Interfaith Accounting office.
  • Monitor staff job performance, complete evaluations, ensure ongoing staff training and development, and participate in the hiring of staff for the department.
  • Monitor in-house databases (Excel and Service Point) to ensure timely and correct data input.
  • Provide assistance to the Director and Director in grant writing and program development and special projects.
  • Assist with budget development and compliance, and fiscal reporting.
  • Remain on-call outside of normal working hours for program support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role or increasing responsibility required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
