Quality Assurance Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION: The following outlines the primary responsibilities associated with this role, though it does not encompass all tasks that may be assigned. This position involves the assembly, soldering, and testing of various relays and contactors. Union Site
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct operational evaluations of products, including but not limited to assessing operating times, voltage levels, dielectric properties, and insulation resistance. Adjust and test units to comply with all in-house final testing specifications and established protocols.
- Interpret and comprehend overall schematics, testing specifications, as well as FTP and ATP reports. Follow written testing instructions and procedures meticulously to ensure accurate product testing.
- Facilitate and enhance testing methodologies by identifying solutions to recurring challenges.
- Examine color, shape, texture, and quality of products and materials against established benchmarks, charts, and samples.
- Utilize a diverse range of measurement instruments, hand tools, and gauges to verify parts against quality standards.
- Perform tests and diagnostic procedures using tools such as analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Address faults, reassemble products, and carry out additional testing as necessary.
- May be required to operate mass spectrometers and ESS equipment as needed. Collaborate effectively within a team environment, sharing responsibilities and engaging in collective problem-solving. Provide training to other employees as required.
- Adhere to JSTD-001 Military Specification Soldering Procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of ESD training as per OP 1707, Solder certification according to OP 1701, and Testing certification per OP 1704. Candidates not certified as testers but selected due to a lack of fully qualified applicants must successfully complete the tester certification course on their first attempt. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
