Key Responsibilities:

Create a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing safety protocols, identifying hazards, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. Direct and support the QA and QC teams. Set departmental objectives and strategies, implement plans to achieve them, and ensure accountability among team members. Champion the Nuclear Safety Culture and guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements. Oversee the union inspection workforce by consistently applying the union labor agreement. Collaborate with other department leaders to align daily priorities and strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to performance expectations. Review and interpret relevant codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance in processes and documentation. Assist in resolving internal and external customer issues. Encourage continuous improvement through initiatives aimed at reducing quality costs and enhancing timely delivery. Support the achievement of business performance objectives through data analysis, scrap reduction, and ongoing process enhancements. Maintain a comprehensive records and documentation system in line with regulatory agency standards. Represent the organization during customer and regulatory audits. Assist in making decisions regarding equipment and staffing to support long-term business needs. Promote seamless interaction and integration across the organization.

Who You Are:

You are a proactive leader who enjoys collaborating across functions to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

7+ years of experience in Quality Control or a related field. 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships through cross-departmental collaboration. Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related technical field. Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently. Experience in ASME code manufacturing. Experience managing union employees. Familiarity with nondestructive testing methods.
