Position Overview:

Role Summary:
TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's Quality Management System. This includes overseeing compliance and fostering continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for all supplier quality-related inquiries and issues.
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to ensure that quality measures are proactively established prior to production.
- Drive improvements in supplier performance through effective coaching, training, and recognition programs.
- Assess and communicate supplier performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with commodity teams to evaluate and qualify new suppliers, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Review and manage supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for new and existing products.
- Analyze quality data to ensure accuracy and develop comprehensive reporting systems to track supplier trends.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality specifications and standards.
- Work closely with engineering teams to clarify specifications for incoming materials as needed.
- Clearly articulate TE's quality expectations to suppliers and monitor compliance.
- Facilitate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers to enhance quality outcomes.
- Conduct audits and maintain a strong understanding of ISO and TS quality system requirements.
- Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers.
- Perform inspections and assessments at supplier locations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Process, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment with a focus on supplier development.
- Proficient understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Experience conducting quality audits and applying problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
