Position Summary:

We are seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations / Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each resident receives exemplary care that maintains or enhances their quality of life, promoting the highest possible mental and physical well-being in a respectful environment.
  • Facilitate open communication with residents and their families to ensure quality of care and operational efficiency, addressing requests, complaints, and suggestions.
  • Uphold residents' rights, ensuring fair treatment, individuality, privacy, and civil rights are respected at all times.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the Administrator for facilities during vacancies.
  • Lead and support teams, removing barriers and providing solutions as necessary, while fostering a cooperative and communicative work environment.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing development of facility leadership and staff.
  • Provide guidance to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Enhance profitability and operational efficiency across facilities in the designated region.
  • Analyze financial, clinical, and operational performance metrics.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly address resident and family concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program policies and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the facility's quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct site visits and offer professional development and training to optimize staff performance.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of company offerings.
  • Keep location leaders informed about assigned product lines, programs, and services.
  • Participate in educating frontline caregivers as directed.
  • Implement effective fiscal management systems to meet financial goals.
  • Ensure the management of facility and resident funds adheres to strict fiduciary standards.
  • Inspire and motivate facility staff to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions as required.
  • Promote a work environment that values teamwork, communication, and employee contributions.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, referral sources, and community representatives.
  • Engage in the development of marketing strategies and community relations initiatives.
  • Comply with all applicable legal standards, policies, and procedures, including the Compliance Program, HIPAA, and Documentation Standards.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to patients, clients, and colleagues at all times.
  • Report incidents, grievances, and compliance concerns according to established procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to state regulations and company policies, including confidentiality standards and infection control protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Current nursing home administrator license required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory; Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a facility administrator.
  • Solid understanding of COBRA, Title XXII, and DHS regulations.
  • Able to analyze profit and loss statements.
  • Proficient in developing and reviewing operating budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disciplinary and corrective action procedures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance principles in departmental operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to maintain neutrality and create a safe environment for employee concerns.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and relevant software applications.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to represent the organization ethically and professionally.
  • Capable of interacting effectively with employees, residents, families, and the public.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable regulations and policies.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours and in various roles as needed.
