As the Vice President of Regional Operations for LoopNet's Digital Advertising division, you will be tasked with the comprehensive oversight of the development and successful execution of the growth objectives for your sales team and the broader business. Your team will focus on increasing and maintaining revenue through the acquisition and service of both new and existing clientele.

Success in this role requires the ability to motivate and energize your team, clients, sales prospects, the CoStar organization, and the real estate sector at large. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive annual sales growth within your designated region.
  • Recruit, nurture, and retain a high-performing team of Regional Directors and Sales Executives capable of exceeding CoStar's established objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Directors to cultivate their development into effective sales leaders, providing the necessary support and guidance to enhance their teams and increase market penetration.
  • Ensure that Regional Directors are hiring top-tier talent and effectively training their high performers.
  • Identify and address training needs for your sales team, tackling skill gaps and performance challenges as they arise.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet corporate objectives while enforcing performance metrics.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients to bolster retention and stimulate additional sales opportunities.
  • Continuously seek, share, and implement best practices within the sales function, leading initiatives to enhance process controls and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout your regional sales organization.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including business and functional partners as well as the senior management team.
  • Act as a vital member of the senior sales leadership team, supporting the executive team in achieving company objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a sales leadership capacity, preferably within sectors such as digital media, advertising, or commercial real estate.
  • At least three years of experience managing sales initiatives in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment with a short sales cycle.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited, non-profit university or college.
  • Possession of a current and valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to employment, demonstrating responsible driving behavior and adherence to traffic regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • A Master's degree in business, engineering, economics, or finance is preferred.
  • Proven ability to retain top sales talent while addressing underperformance.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate across various organizational levels to influence stakeholders and drive team success.
  • A track record of developing effective sales leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally (with peers and teams) and externally (with sales channels and clients).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a rapidly evolving high-growth environment.
