Position Overview: Talent Acquisition Executive
Kodiak Solutions is seeking an innovative and experienced Talent Acquisition Executive to lead our recruitment and onboarding initiatives. This pivotal role involves crafting and refining our Talent Acquisition (TA) strategies, ensuring the implementation of effective systems, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. While this is a leadership position, you will also engage in hands-on recruiting for essential roles, all while developing a scalable TA framework for Kodiak Solutions. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
Location: Preference for Kodiak office locations, but open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Develop a comprehensive hiring strategy that enhances candidate experience while utilizing efficient and scalable processes to support company growth.
- Define and implement interviewing and selection protocols to attract top talent in healthcare finance, technology, and professional services.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to execute workforce planning and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Establish metrics to assess the efficiency and quality of hiring practices.
- Stay informed on leading hiring trends to ensure Kodiak's TA efforts remain innovative and effective.
- Onboarding: Utilize tools and systems to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires from candidates to employees.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Create, implement, and oversee hiring policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards and best practices, with regular reviews and updates.
- Leadership: Inspire and mentor the Kodiak TA team, providing effective management and guidance.
- Design and deliver training programs for interviewers and other employee development initiatives that bolster Kodiak's TA efforts.
- Legal Compliance and Immigration: Maintain knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in hiring practices, acting as the primary liaison for immigration matters.
- Culture and Ethics: Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring that company values and ethics are integrated into our policies and daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in HR Talent Acquisition or a similar capacity, demonstrating a history of increasing responsibility.
- Experience in fast-paced SaaS/Technical Start-ups, with a proven track record of building and leading teams of Recruiters, Sourcers, and Coordinators.
- Expertise in leading employment branding initiatives that reflect a high-performance culture.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Dayforce/Ceridian, Workday, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach, capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
