Role Purpose: The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction and implementation of talent acquisition initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent across our expanding operations. This pivotal role will influence the workforce and culture of the organization, driving innovation and growth. You will have the chance to lead transformative projects that align with fairlife's strategic objectives, including overseeing talent acquisition strategies for new facilities. This position will be key in fostering diverse and inclusive talent pipelines and employing advanced recruitment strategies to maintain a competitive advantage in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates that align with the company's vision and growth plans.
- Guide, mentor, and oversee a team of talent acquisition professionals to achieve hiring goals.
- Work closely with senior management to establish workforce planning strategies and develop talent pipelines.
- Evaluate recruiting metrics, market trends, and industry best practices to enhance talent acquisition processes and results.
- Provide strategic insight on diversity and inclusion efforts to ensure a varied and inclusive workforce.
- Build and nurture relationships with external partners, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies to broaden the talent network.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employer branding and improve the company's standing as an employer of choice.
- Continuously improve the candidate experience through feedback and process enhancements.
- Equip hiring managers with the necessary skills, training, and resources for effective interviewing and selection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the CPG or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of mentoring and developing talent acquisition teams.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing talent acquisition teams across North America.
- Ability to utilize data analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and refine recruitment processes.
- Experience in implementing innovative recruitment technologies and tools to enhance candidate experiences and streamline hiring (experience with ATS systems like Greenhouse is highly desirable).
- Proven ability to formulate strategic plans for developing candidate pipelines and executing effective hiring strategies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong partnership skills with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with broader business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
