Job Purpose: In the role of Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for steering the strategic direction and implementation of talent acquisition efforts to attract, nurture, and retain exceptional talent across our expanding operations. This position is vital in shaping the workforce and culture of the organization, fostering innovation and growth. You will have the chance to lead transformative initiatives that align with fairlife's expansion goals, including overseeing talent acquisition strategies for new facilities. By influencing the future success of the organization through effective talent management, this role will promote diverse and inclusive talent pipelines and utilize advanced recruitment strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement talent acquisition strategies that attract high-caliber candidates aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Guide, mentor, and oversee a team of talent acquisition professionals to achieve hiring targets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish workforce planning strategies and develop talent pipelines.
  • Evaluate recruiting metrics, market trends, and industry best practices to enhance talent acquisition processes and results.
  • Provide strategic insights on diversity and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a diverse workforce.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies to broaden the talent network.
  • Lead employer branding efforts to strengthen the company's image as a preferred employer.
  • Enhance candidate experience through continuous feedback and process improvements.
  • Equip hiring managers with the necessary skills, training, and resources for effective interviewing and selection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring and developing talent acquisition teams.
  • Proven experience in building and managing high-performing talent acquisition teams across North America.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize recruitment processes.
  • Experience in implementing innovative recruitment technologies and tools to improve candidate experiences and streamline hiring (experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS systems is highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic plans for candidate pipeline building and executing effective hiring strategies in a fast-paced manufacturing context.
  • Capacity to collaborate with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with broader business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Awareness of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and a proven history of thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.
