Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory control, utilizing analytical skills, effective communication, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an Inventory Management position utilizing manufacturing software(s)
- 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and ERP/MRP systems
- Quality and Safety Training/Certifications (not required, but a plus)
- Forklift Certification (not required, but a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing staff, preferably own department
Necessary Skills:
- Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Creative, motivated and proactive to achieve continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, especially in all MS Office applications
- Extremely proficient in software
Work Environment:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area.
- Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location and will occasionally require some work in a warehouse to move/lift material (must be able to lift boxes no more than 40 pounds).
- No travel required.
Expectations:
- 10-25 hours per week to start with the expectation to become full-time within 2-3 months.
