Job Summary:

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Agency Services unit, you will be responsible for providing logistical operations support and technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform various agency support functions, including mail processing, property, asset, and staff relocation, receiving, inventory and storage support, and coordination of building maintenance.
  • Disseminate information, maintain files and inventory systems, develop operational reports, and provide general support work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and may train others.
  • Work collaboratively with others to resolve related issues and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in logistical operations support activities, move management, and related duties.
  • Ability to work hours other than 8 to 5, including occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting supplies and materials.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, the Asset Management, Inventory and/or Purchasing modules in the Centralize Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS), and TxFS, strongly preferred.
