Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles related to electrical systems and maintenance directives.
  • Ability to interpret symbols in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in handling, using, and disposing of hazardous materials safely.
  • Skilled in removing and replacing components of F-16 aircraft.
  • Capable of making adjustments according to established Technical Data Specifications.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of total experience, with at least two (2) years of recent experience in F-16 aircraft maintenance as an avionics technician.
  • Experience with aircraft wiring, including installation of avionics system modifications involving various types of wiring.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET clearance and undergo a government security investigation.
  • A valid driver's license is required for company-related travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal color vision as defined in AFI.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.

Travel Expectations:

  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training sessions, and site visits.
