Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Avionics Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide rangeAvionics Technician - Aircraft Maintenance
As an Avionics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft by maintaining and repairing their complex avionics systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair avionic components both on and off the aircraft.
- Interpret and follow technical manuals and schematics to perform repairs accurately.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental health guidelines.
- Assist with the installation and removal of avionic equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Avionics Technician or equivalent military/vendor training.
- A&P license or A license preferred.
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
