Position Overview
As an Electronics Assembly Technician II at Universal Avionics, you will engage in a range of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks on printed circuit boards and mechanical assemblies, adhering to precise specifications. This includes the manual assembly of harnesses, sub-assemblies, and final products.

Under general supervision, you will utilize visual aids, schematics, and both verbal and written instructions to execute assembly tasks. It is essential to comprehend and follow established procedures and processes. Assignments may be intricate, requiring personal judgment to address challenges. Certain functions may necessitate industry-standard certifications.

Qualifications
To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills to perform simple calculations and read measuring devices.
  • Reasoning ability to follow detailed instructions and address problems with concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and familiarity with MFG-specific software.
  • Possession of industry-standard certifications may be required.

Work Environment
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, and safety equipment may be necessary for specific tasks. Some duties may require working under magnification.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this role, employees are regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers for handling, and reach with arms. Frequent communication is necessary, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required. Vision abilities must include close vision and the capacity to adjust focus.
